RCMP Investigating Hotel Robbery

Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP are investigating an armed robbery which took place at a hotel in the 21700 block of Lougheed Highway.

On Tuesday, October 3, RCMP First Responders attended a robbery call at around 10:20am. The victim reported a male suspect brandished a knife during the robbery and then left on foot after obtaining a small amount of cash. Assistance from the RCMP Integrated Police Dog Services unit was provided however no suspects were located.

The male suspect is described as Caucasian, 35-40 years old, approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build and dark hair wearing a dark blue or black hoody, black gloves and dirty blue jeans.


Hotel staff were not injured and Ridge Meadows RCMP Victim Services has been offered. The Ridge Meadows RCMP Investigation Support Team continues the investigation.
